Poets Amy Shutzer and Ellen Goldberg will be here to read from recent chapbooks. Amy Shutzer’s chapbook, recently published by Finishing Line Press, is called Taking the Scarecrows Down. Her poems have been published in a variety of literary reviews and journals, and she is also the author of two novels: Undertow (published in 2000) was a Lambda Book Award Finalist, and The Color of Weather (published in 2010) was a finalist in the Leapfrog Press Fiction Contest. She has read at the store several times and we are happy to have her back. Ellen Goldberg’s chapbook, Each Perfect One, has just been published by Seven Kitchens Press. It is the winner of the Robin Becker Prize. Both writers are members of the 29th Street Writers collective in Portland.
