Paul Levy, The Quantum Revelation: A Radical Synthesis of Science and Spirituality
Portland author Paul Levy joins us to read from his book The Quantum Revelation. In this book, a radical synthesis of science and spirituality, Levy contemplates the deeper philosophical underpinnings of quantum mechanics, exploring the fundamental questions it provokes. Written for readers with no physics background, the book is not just for people interested in quantum theory but for anyone who is interested in waking up and expanding their consciousness.
Caroline Myss calls the book "a masterpiece...utterly brilliant," and Sting calls the book "mind-blowing." In her foreward to the book, Jean Houston says "this is one of the most fascinating, evocative, and important books that I have ever read."
Paul Levy grew up in Yonkers, New York, and received degrees in both economics and studio art from what is now called Binghamton University in New York. Though not a physicist himself, Levy has been seriously studying and going down the quantum physics rabbit hole for decades. Levy moved to Portland in 1990. He is the founder of the Awakening in the Dream community in Portland. A Tibetan Buddhist practitioner for more than thirty years, he was the coordinator of the Portland chapter of the Padmasambhava Buddhist Center for more than twenty years.
